Play Dough

Looking for fun with the kids? Make Play Dough!!!
2 Cups flour
1 Cup salt
1 Tbsp cream of tartar (heaping)
2 Cups water
1 Tbsp vegetable oil (use a little more if needed)
1-4 Food colours
Put all the ingredients in a pan. Stir over medium heat until mixture is blended and hard to stir. Remove from heat. If you are making more than one colour, divide the dough into equal amounts. Add the food colouring to each and knead it in until well mixed.
Store in containers that are air-tight.
